Stacked Column Dial

Stacked column charts show how individual items relate to the total. An example of a stacked column chart appears below.

To create a stacked column chart:

Click Edit In Place
(or open the Visual Designer if you prefer).

Expand the Component Library (edit in place only) by clicking Expand
.

Click Dials
in the Component Library.

Expand the Personal Dials folder.

Drag Create New Dial onto your dashboard.
The Create New Dial dialog appears. -
Click the Column Chart template and enter Breakdown by Time and Stack by Value as the dial’s name.

Click the name of the dial in your Personal Dials folder and drag it to the location where you want it to appear (if you are using the Visual Designer, you can just click to open it in the editing area).

Click Data Settings in the Editors menu.

Clear the Actual check box, choose the account you want the dial to display (the example is using PL Expense), set Break Down Data by to Time and Value Dimension, and set Value Dimension to Level:

Click Apply.

Click the Appearance Tab.

Set Display Type to Stacked Column:

Click Apply, then Close.
Your dial is done!
