Is there a way to compare versions in a Model report? We have entered forecasted bookings data in a modeled sheet. I have uploaded actual bookings data into another version using the same modeled sheet. I would like to provide my sales people a report that compares the actual bookings for the last two months to the projected bookings data so that they can compare and update their forecasts accordingly. I can do this in a Matrix report, but I can't show all of the fields in the modeled sheet. What's my best avenue to accomplish this?
There is not a way to compare versions in a Model report. You are correct that the only way to achieve this comparison is with a Matrix report.
If the fields that you wish to display are text fields, you may be able to do so by changing the Row Key. Row Keys, such as First Name and Last Name, are the individual row identifiers, and they can be included in Matrix reports.
To add a Row Key, go to Modeling > Sheets > select 'Edit' next to the sheet name > Columns and Levels . Click the Sheet Properties button in the Toolbar (gear icon), then go to the Settings tab. There will be a list of all of the text elements. Use Ctrl-click to select multiple Row Keys.
