Cannot create initial balance because the new initial balance for the account with code...

Question

I am trying to create a new version, but I keep receiving this error. What is causing this?

Answer

Typically, when a user receives this error, it is because the initial balance for an account would be invalid in the new version due to a formula error. To identify the formula error, you can run a Validate Formulas report from Model Management. Once any formula errors are corrected, you will be able to create your new version.
